This Winchester manufactured receiver is for the field grade model 12 slide action takedown shotgun in 16 gauge and is in very good condition retaining some of its original blue finish with honest wear and the balance as a grayish brown patina and possibly containing a few specks of rust present. This receiver is the only part on the model 12 shotgun that is tracked as a firearm therefore it will need to be transferred through a dealer. Receivers do not qualify as a C&R based on BATFE's guide lines. (file photo)
